It's been a while since I have posted a journal entry, but it happens.
Anywho, on to business.
I know artists out there who are very protective of the art they have produced. I'm one of those who expect to be cited as the original artist of the piece I have made as does anyone else. We have put in many man hours into these pieces and we expect that our work will still be ours.
Sure, I have some works for you lovely deviants to play with, the ColorMe! series is for your enjoyment. But, when I see on Facebook one person who claims to have drawn my ColorMe! Loki Lineart piece, I'm gonna get very defensive. If you draw it, please make sure to give credit where it is due. A simple 'I've been inspired by _________'s picture, and thought I'd share my take on it', and I'm going to be honored that they thought my work was worthy enough for them.
I don't know how many of my works have been 'stolen', but I will rat you out if I catch it happening. I have been at this for a long time in my life, and I have the right to call anyone out who tries to claim my artwork as theirs. As Confusious said 'Karma is best served cold, and I'm having you al a mode, motha f*ckers' Be respectful. Please.
